TV Remote Control is designed with a privacy-first approach. The app does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. No manual account registration is required.
The app generates a random, anonymous user identifier (User ID) to support basic functionality such as subscription status and app usage continuity. This identifier cannot be used to personally identify you.
TV Remote Control uses Local Network access solely to discover and communicate with compatible TVs and devices on your same Wi-Fi network. This local network communication happens only on your device and local network.
The app does not collect or process remote commands, connected device details, or other usage content on external servers. All remote control activity and device connection data are handled locally on the user’s device.
Minimal technical data, such as an anonymous User ID and subscription-related status, may be stored securely.
Backend services are provided via Supabase, which may store anonymous identifiers and limited subscription-related metadata.
Other app data and device interaction data remain on the user’s device.
TV Remote Control uses the following third-party services strictly for core functionality:
No data is shared with third parties for advertising, tracking, analytics, or profiling.
All purchases are handled securely through Apple In-App Purchases and managed via RevenueCat. The app does not collect or store any payment information.
Industry-standard security measures are used to protect minimal technical data. Since the app does not collect personal content and most functionality operates locally on the device, privacy risks are minimized.
Because TV Remote Control does not collect personal data, there is generally no personal data to access, modify, or delete. If you have questions about subscription-related records associated with your anonymous User ID, you may contact us.
TV Remote Control is not intended for children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect any data from children.
